VBS fun!

The Squeaky Beaker Preschool made snack for everyone on the first day. Ms. Lauren was proud to share that no one licked their fingers in the making of the snack!

Preschool never looked like so much fun! Ms. Katie, Ms. Ann, and Ms. Nancy did a great job leading this area! They can never retire!

Ms. Christy, Ms. Marcia, Ms. Angie, and Ms.Carol are the ladies to call when hair gel and glitter go together!

The kids experienced the miracle of Jesus rising from the dead through this cool science experiment with Diet Coke and mentos! It was a favorite, for sure!

As you can see, VBS was lots of fun! We had about 85 participants with about half being visitors! Congratulations to Lainie who brought the most visitors! Plus, a huge thank you to all the volunteers! VBS wouldn't be possible without your help!

Despite the heat, we had a great time Saturday night hosting Munchin' with the Martins! Jennifer and I were enjoying visiting with everyone so much that we forgot to take pictures! The final Munchin' With the Martins is Saturday, Aug. 9th! It's for Kids of the Spirit, but if you haven't made it yet, come on!

VBS!

I am excited for all the kids to get powered up at VBS! So far, we have 61 kids registered with about half of them being visitors! I am so proud of all our families who are inviting neighbors and friends. Way to go! This year's VBS check-in and pick up will be a little different. We will be using our check-in system each day. Parents will need to walk their kiddos in and get a pick up receipt. Then at Noon, parents need to walk into the auditorium and give their child's group leader the pick up receipt. Children will not be dismissed into the lobby as in years past. With so many visitors, we want to be sure that everyone gets picked up and connected to the correct adult. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Munchin' With The Martins New Dates

Parker was sick last weekend so we had to postpone Munchin' With Martins to July 26 at 6:00. We were sad to miss last weekend but we are looking forward to fellowshiping with Kids' Community on the 26. Also, we moved Kids of the Spirit Munchin' With Martins to Aug. 9th at 6:00. All you need to do is RSVP and bring a side dish or dessert. We're looking forward to visiting with you!
